Do you guys remember "bubbling"? It's when you hide the photo behind solid color and then cut "bubbles" on parts that doesn't contain clothing. Something like THIS. It created a pretty convincing illusion that person on that photo was in fact naked, you just couldn't see it all.
People mostly used photos of girls in bikinis - the most skin available. Ah, what a dark times it was. Nowadays you have cheeky photos like this with nothing left to imagination -
